Cover Crop Workshop Set

      A cover crop workshop will be held at the gymnasium in Northville on Tuesday, March 17, beginning at 10 a.m. and running until about 2 p.m.
      Topics include selecting cover crops and 2008 findings, local seed selection and availability, cover crop - nutrient cycling, value of grazing cover crops and USDA opportunities for 2009, and a soybean cyst nematodes update.
      Those planning to attend are asked to contact the Spink County conservation office (472-1437, ext. 3) so a count for the free meal can be determined.
