Agnes lived on the home farm place at Brampton until the age of 83 when she moved to Bethany Homes of Fargo in June of 2001. During her working life, Agnes served as postmaster for many years, first at Brampton and later at Havana, ND.
Agnes had been a member of the Brampton Lutheran Church before its dissolution, and was currently a member of Trinity Lutheran of Forman. She enjoyed scrabble, crossword puzzles, music, and traveling.

Casketbearers were Bill Calmus, Fred Colling, Don Weidler, Dave Zepeda, Rich Liable, and Lynn Borgers.
Pastors Sara and Terrill Sorenson conducted graveside services at Trondhjem Cemetery. Following the committal, friends and family gathered at First Lutheran Church of Britton for lunch and fellowship.
Graveside casketbearers were Andrew Mack, Anthony Mack, Spencer Mack, Donald Mack, Dennis Bremmon and Cory Bremmon.
Phillip Leroy Bremmon was born September 1, 1944, in San Bernardino, California, to Clayton and Eleanor (Olson) Bremmon, where he spent his first year. When his father returned from four years of service during WW II the three of them moved to South Dakota to start farming. He started the first grade on his sixth birthday in Havana, North Dakota. Two months later they moved to Britton where Phil attended Lowell #3 through the eighth grade. He then attended Britton High school where he graduated in May 1962. During his years in school he excelled in Industrial Arts, Music, and was also a member of FFA. Phil attended the School of Commerce in Aberdeen, South Dakota, in 1963.
Phil worked for Kelsey Welding for three years. During his years in Aberdeen, he met Wanda Bierman, and they married on October 1, 1966, at Mansfield, South Dakota. To this union two sons were born: Jeff and Jerry. After a short time in Aberdeen they moved to Britton with his new family. Phil utilized his considerable talents as a builder and craftsman while working for Cenex Coop and later at his own carpentry business. Phil also farmed for a while with his father, prior to moving to Ellendale, North Dakota, to open his own welding shop. During the first years of his marriage to Wanda the two of them formed a band. They played at many dances over the years.
The family then moved to Salem, South Dakota. Phil worked at Feterl Manufacturing as a section leader. While in Salem, Phil became a member of the Salem school board and very active in his church as a member of the Church Council. Phil was able to indulge his passion for farming while living on a small acreage where he raised cattle, pigs, and sheep. He also purchased several pieces of old farm equipment and restored an M Farmall and a B John Deere tractor. Phil always had a saying "You can take the boy out of the farm but not the farm out of the boy."
In 1985 he met Gloria Drown and they were married on May 16, 1985. Together they have lived in Howard for 22 years. Phil worked and later managed the Homestead Building Supply company in Howard until his illness of this year. Phil always loved to tell jokes; his hobbies were golf, fishing, singing, and playing the guitar. Phil was always busy working in his garage building and fixing bicycles and play things for his grandchildren, and he built them a playhouse that they really have lots of fun in today. Phil could be seen riding around in Howard on the horseless carriage he built.
Phil was an active member of the Bethany Lutheran Church, was a past president of the church and helped with numerous projects in the church.
Those grateful for having shared his life include his wife, Gloria of Howard, SD; two sons, Jeff Bremmon of Shakopee, MN, and Jerry Bremmon of Sioux Falls, SD; three step-sons, Lonny (Robbi) Drown of Howard, SD, Chad (Verla) Drown of Salem, SD, and Robert (Sheila) Drown of Sumter, SC; a step-daughter, Kimberly (Mike) Law of Howard, SD; 12 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; his mother, Eleanor Bremmon of Britton, SD; a brother, Paul (Connie) Bremmon of Britton, SD; three sisters, Kay Mack of Britton, SD, Kathy Dinges of Papillion, NE, and Carol (Bill) Noble of Horse Shoe Bay, TX.

**Linda Osborn
Linda Osborn, age 51, co-owner of Bushnell Pottery, died peacefully at the Hospice Unit of Avera McKennan in Sioux Falls on Friday, June 1, following a difficult and courageous battle with lung and ovarian cancer.
Linda Jean Eclov was born on June 20, 1955, in Milbank, South Dakota, to Lyle and Grace (Stenstadvold) Eclov of Stockholm SD. The family moved to Britton, SD, in 1958. After graduating from Britton High School, Linda spent a year attending Trinity Bible School in Chicago, Illinois. She finished her college education at South Dakota State University where she received a degree in Home Economics. While at SDSU, she met Michael Osborn and the two were married at the Britton Methodist Church on March 4, 1978.
In 1979, Linda and Michael established Bushnell Pottery and traveled the Midwest developing a circuit of Arts and Craft shows they use to this day. Along the way, the couple discovered new places and made many lasting friendships with fellow artists. In 1987, Alyssa Marie Osborn was born and the two became three. For the next twenty years, they roamed, the country selling their wares as a family. The Black Hills of South Dakota became a favorite place to visit and holds a special meaning to Linda, Michael and Aly. Over the past thirty years, their home and studio in Bushnell has continued to grow and evolve. Their porch has been filled with many wonderful gatherings and good memories. Linda will be missed at these gatherings by friends both near and far.
Linda was an active member of the Brookings Summer Arts Festival committee where she was Chair of the Booth Committee. Linda and Michael's booth at the Festival was a favorite place to gather for the Committee members and friends. She will be missed at the pizza party after the festival.
Linda attended the First United Methodist Church in Brookings and enjoyed watching Aly sing and play her trumpet during services. Throughout Aly's high school years, Linda was very active in the Band Boosters and the BHS Theater Department. She traveled to band competitions, concerts, attended plays, and was available to sew a ripped costume at a moment's notice. Linda also followed her daughter's interests to college by attending more concerts and several exciting Big Red football events . . . go Huskers! Watching her daughter grow and mature through these events was one of Linda's great joys.
Linda was preceded in death by her father Lyle and is survived by her husband Michael, her daughter Aly, her mother Grace, her two brothers Lee and Larry and their families, and countless friends, all of whom will miss her deeply.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday June 9, at the First United Methodist Church, at 625 5th Street, in Brookings, SD. A lunch of Linda's favorite "church food" (scalloped potatoes and ham, buns and runny-red Jello) will be served after the service. All are welcome to attend . . . we will cry, we will laugh, and we will celebrate a life lived!
