Cub Scouts in Britton will hit the streets Saturday morning, Oct. 24 between 9-11 a.m. to collect food to help fill the shelves at the Britton Food Pantry. Food bags can be picked up at Cliffs 1-Stop, Ken's Grocery Store and Meyer Hardware Hank. People are asked to fill the bags with non-perishable foods such as soup, beef stew, chili, canned fish, canned meats, canned vegetables, canned fruit, pasta, cereal etc., Residents are asked to leave filled bags curbside or in plain view outside front doors by 9 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 24.
