Dominant 7 To Be In Sisseton

The Sisseton Arts Council will sponsor a concert by Dominant 7, a Northern State University trumpet ensemble, on Friday, Feb. 27, at Grace Lutheran Church in Sisseton at 7:30 p.m.
Featuring eight trumpets backed by a four-piece rhythm section, the group has been featured at the Sioux Falls Jazz and Blues Fest, the South Dakota State Fair, and numerous venues from Indiana to Montana. They will also open for Arturo Sandoval at the International Trumpet Guild conference in Glassboro, NJ, in June.
Tickets will be available at the door for $5 for adults and free for students. South Dakota Arts Council support for the concert is provided with funds from the State of South Dakota through the Department of Tourism and State Development and the National endowment for the Arts.
