The 20th annual Belmond Community Thanksgiving Dinner will be held November 26 at 11:30 a.m. at the Leinbach Center. This event is for anyone who might be alone on Thanksgiving Day. Reservations are required by calling Rose Mickelson (444-3043) or Peggy Halverson (444-7175) by November 22. The menu this year will be turkey, potatoes and gravy, dressing, corn, sweet potatoes, salad, rolls and pumpkin pie. Rides will be available to the meal site, and meals can be delivered to homes. Be sure to call for a reservation. An offering will be collected to help with expenses. Volunteers are needed to furnish napkins and pie, help prepare the food, set tables, serve the meals and clean up. Contact Rose if interested in helping with this dinner.
