David Lee Cowley

Mr. David Lee Cowley, 39, Autozone employee, husband of Mrs. Regina Cowley, passed away Tuesday, October 27, 2009 at his residence in Coldwater, Miss.

A memorial service was held by the family on Friday, October 30, 2009 at Looxahoma Church of Christ at 6 p.m. Ray-Nowell Funeral Home of Senatobia, Miss. had charge of arrangements.

Mr. David Lee Cowley was born December 26, 1969 to the late Mr. Robert Cowley and the late Mrs. Ardath Cowley.

Mr. Cowley is survived by his wife, Mrs. Regina Cowley of Coldwater, Miss.; three sons, Tristen Bowman-Cowley, Corbin Bowman-Cowley and Raymond Bowman-Cowley; four sisters and two brothers, Connie Whitted, Robert Cowley, Penny Dent, Tim Cowley, Diana U'ren and Carolyn Cowley.

He was preceded in death by both parents.

Memorials may be sent to North Mississippi Hospice - 120 Guthrie Rd. Suite B. Southaven, MS 38671.

Finander Lyle Lee

Finander Lyle Lee, 67, died Wednesday, October 21, 2009 at Baptist Memorial Hospital - DeSoto. He was a truck driver and a member of Friendship Methodist Church in Ravenden, Ark.

Mr. Lee is survived by his wife, Martha, whom he was with for 45 years. He is also survived by his children, Amber Weems (John) of Arlington, Tenn., twins, Karon Stovall (Greg) and Lyle Lee (Tammie), both of Senatobia, Miss.; sisters, Bernice Bratcher of Batesville, Ark., Rethea Kell of Imboden, Ark., Mary Queen of Bartlett, Tenn.; and brother, Isham Lee of Goshen, Ind. Mr. Lee is also survived by his grandchildren, Lindsey, Joseph, Audra, Khristina, Monique, Emily, Ashleigh, Cody, Justin, Tyler, Jacob and Katie.

Mr. Lee was preceded in death by his parents, Orville and Vera Lee and sister, Anna Kirby.

Funeral services were held Monday, October 26, 2009 at Forest Hill East Funeral Home at 2 p.m. Interment was in Forest Hill East Cemetery.

Memorials may be sent to the American Cancer Society.

A. Patsy Fulgham

A. Patsy Fulgham, 67, of Winamac, Ind., formerly of Memphis, Tenn., passed away on October 26, 2009 at Baptist Memorial Hospital - DeSoto. Services were held on November 1, 2009 at Pate-Jones Funeral Home in Senatobia with burial following in Bethesda Cemetery in Senatobia.

She leaves her daughter, Michelle Ward of Millington, Tenn.; her son, Mike Fulgham of Winamac, Ind.; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Jesse Hankins

Jesse Hankins, 75, Arkabutla, Miss., passed away at St. Francis Select Specialty Hospital Memphis on October 27, 2009. Mr. Hankins was a retired truck driver. He loved the outdoors and he and his wife loved camping together.

He is survived by his wife, Jean; two daughters, Deborah Jordan (Terry) of Horn Lake, Miss. And Vickie Stewart (James) of Brandon, Miss.; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and his sister, Halive Epperson. Mr. Hankins was preceded in death by his daughter, Pam Hankins and grandson, Scott Jordan.

The family received friends from 5-7 p.m. on Thursday, October 29 at Faith Chapel Holiness Church in Senatobia, Miss. The funeral service was held Friday, October 30 at the church followed by burial in Forest Hill East Cemetery on Whitten Road in Memphis, Tenn. High Point Funeral Chapel was in charge of the arrangements.

Robbie Sessom Powell

Robbie Sessom Powell, 65, died October 23, 2009 at Baptist Memorial Hospital - DeSoto. Services were held on Saturday, October 31, 2009 at 1 p.m. at West Looxahoma Church of Christ with burial following in Carter Sunset Cemetery.

Mrs. Powell leaves her daughter, Sharon Wright and her son Kerion Gibson, both of Senatobia, Miss.; her sisters, Lillie B. Sessom, Earlene Faulkner, Sherry Bradford, all of Senatobia, Miss., Anne Lloyd of Como, Miss. And Cleola Sessom of Southaven, Miss.; her brothers, David Sessom and Connie Nelson, both of Senatobia, and Donald Wayne Sessom of Memphis, Tenn.; and one grandchild.

Marvis Sylvester Williams

Marvis Sylvester Williams, 81, of Southaven, Miss. passed away October 28, 2009 at his home. Services were held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, October 30, 2009 at Pate-Jones Funeral Home. Burial followed at Looxahoma Community Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Iris June Williams of Southaven, Miss.; his daughter, Debra Hall of Memphis, Tenn.; his son, Ronald C. Williams of Memphis, Tenn.; five sisters, Dorothy Dickerson, Earlene Brownlee, Juanita Crawford and Mary Rich, all of Looxahoma, Miss. and Shirley Brown of Horn Lake, Miss.; and two brothers, Wayne Williams of Looxahoma, Miss. and Mark Williams of Roy, Utah.

Arnett Woods

Arnett Woods, 60, of Holly Springs, Miss., died October 24, 2009 at Baptist East Hospital in Memphis, Tenn. Services were held at 12 noon Saturday, October 31, 2009 at Thyatira Family Life Center in Senatobia, Miss. Burial was in Smith Grove Church Cemetery in Holly Springs, Miss. Felix Cauthen Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.

He was a retired factory worker and a life member of Wall Hill Church of Christ.

He is survived by his wife, Edna E. Woods; daughter, Cassandra Graham of Coldwater, Miss.; two sons, Derrick Woods and Dewayne Woods, both of Chicago, Ill.; father, Arlandrew Woods of Coldwater, Miss.; four sisters, Izella Buford, Lizzie Pelts, and Ann Wood all of Chicago, Ill., and Shelia Woods of Coldwater, Miss.; five brothers, Eddie B. Woods and Ezell Woods, both of Chicago, Ill., University Woods of Coldwater, Miss., Warren Woods of Memphis, Tenn., and Anthony Woods of Coldwater, Miss.; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
