Howard G. Coppage, 60, of Senatobia, Miss., passed away September 20, 2009. Services were held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 26 at Zion Hill M.B. Church in Coldwater, Miss. Burial followed in Zion Hill Cemetery in Senatobia, Miss. Felix Cauthen Funeral Home had charge of the arrangements
He was a deacon of Zion Hill M.B. Church for eight years and worked as an employee for the City of Senatobia.
He is survived by two sons, Plemmon D. Hammond and Kerance Johnson, both of Senatobia, Miss.; and three grandchildren.
Georgia Mary May Jackson
Georgia Mary May Jackson, 79, of Coldwater, Miss., passed away on Monday, September 21, 2009 at her home. She was a member of Independence Methodist Church.
Mrs. Jackson is survived by a daughter, Mary Elizabeth Jackson of Memphis, Tenn.; a son, Ralph Lee Jackson of Coldwater,Miss.; three sisters, Virginia Penn of Coldwater, Tommie Ann Peeler of Gary, Ind., and Helen Caughran of Memphis, Tenn.; a brother, Richard Andy Davis of Coldwater, Miss.; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, September 23 at 11 a.m. at Brantley Funeral Home in Olive Branch. Interment followed in Mt. Zion Cemetery in Independence.
Hunter Wray McGee
Hunter Wray McGee, age 18, general laborer in construction industry, of Courtland, Miss., died Thursday afternoon, September 17, 2009 from an auto accident near Senatobia, Miss.
Services were held at Wells Funeral Home Chapel on Sunday, September 20, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. Burial was in Oakhill Cemetery, Enid, Miss.
Hunter is survived by his mother: Rene Furr McGee of Courtland, Miss. and his step-father, Gary Williams of Courtland, Miss; a twin brother, Haven Wayne McGee of Senatobia, Miss.; three sisters, Stephanie Hudson Lindsey of Enid, Miss., Jordan Kelsey Williams of Batesville, Miss. and Katie Rose McGee of Danville, Ill; one brother, Brady McGee of Danville, Ill.; and his grandparents, Tillman and Sandra Flowers of Enid, Miss., and Eloise Williams of Batesville, Miss.
