With this week's edition we are introducing a brand new magazine -- Relish.
It is all about a subject close to the BOH's heart -- eating!

Not only can it help you prepare some fine food, it can help you save a little money, too. Relish will be in your paper the first week of each month.

Speaking of saving money, the Boss of the House recommends checking out all the sale prices and money saving coupons in this edition. You'll save a bunch of money.

Next week we will introduce another great new monthly magazine -- Spry.
Spry will be full of hints to help us all live better, live heathier, and live longer!

Best of all!

Of course, the star of this week's edition is the Welcome to Tate County 2010 magazine!

We think it is the biggest and best one we have ever produced. We hope you agree and we hope you enjoy it!

Summer Olympics

Changing the subject, Pres. Obama made a quick trip to Copenhagen to sell Chicago as the site of the 2016 Summer Olympics.

Some folks criticized him for making the trip, but if it had been successful, it would have been worth it. Even though the U.S. lost the bid, it was worth a try.

Speaking of presidential trips, the President is slated to visit the Mississippi Gulf Coast later this month.

The economy

Those in the know in Jackson tell us that few realize the extent of the financial woes facing state government for the next one or two dozen months.

Fortunately, Mississippi is not in as bad of a financial situation as is California. Actually, we are better off than most other states, but we are still going to have to watch every single government expenditure at every level.
