It's been a long time of my writing the community news. A lot has been going on with sickness, death, and other things as well. But I want to thank everyone for the calls, and all the concerns. But needless to say I'm at full strength to go again. So my second thank you is to Rita Farrow, who writes the Bett News) for letting me share my words in her news. Keep it going girl. Give her call, she's just around the corner. Walter and I have really enjoyed going back to Antioch Church of Christ where we are members. We had fellowship luncheon on Sunday after church services, and wow it was some good food. We all gathered in love and enjoyed every minute. We do invite you to come and worship with us. Bill Jones hasn't been able to attend church in three weeks. He hasn't been feeling good. I hope to see him up and about soon. Our prayers go out to Uncle Albert Embrey as he still struggles with his sickness. Aunt Sybil stays by his side to hold his hand for comfort. An amazing lady she is. She walks with him, talks with him, through the hours of his needs. Walter and I want to thank Dennis Paul and Lynn Scruggs for the tasty bread loaf. It was so sweet of you great neighbors. Georgia Whitehead had exploratory surgery on Friday of last week. Our prayers go out to her. My mom, Rose Busby, has adjusted to her new home. I keep her busy. She enjoyed her weekend stay in Olive Branch with her granddaughter, Amanda Boucher. How lovely it is to see the elderly get to share their everyday life as they can. "From life take the best!" Danny Busby, my brother, has been down in his back for some time now. Hope he will find out what's going on so he can mend the pain. Erasers can erase the words we write but can't erase the three little words, I love you! My friend, Betty Stepp of Southaven, and I took a one day trip to Siketons Missouri on Monday. We enjoyed our lunch at the Lamberts restaurant. Oh my good food and boy did I catch those rolls. It's a roll throwing restaurant. We shopped around and done some site seeing. It was a five hour trip their and back. We loved the time spent together. Ever want to see rolls thrown, you have to see this one - funny! I visited with the elders in the Senatobia Nursing Home on Sunday. My mom and I enjoyed spending time with her friend Roy Medlin. I enjoyed the nice visit with Florence Mabry. Hope she gets to feeling better soon. Go visit with the shut ins, they love people from the outside as well. They like to see you and hear your voice. It means a lot to them. The holidays are approaching, reach out to a friend and show them you care. Our world is in a mess, so lets come together. Lets keep the sick in our prayers and remember our troops. God bless our country. Call me with your news at 562-7099 or email me at carolynjones@bellsouth.net. Gracie and Allen Whitehead will celebrate their birthday on November 27. They will be two years old. Beautiful twins! We want to keep Gerald Troha's mom in our thoughts and prayers. She had surgery last week. Gerald is the husband of Wendy Troha. Everyone mark your calendars for December 12. The Poagville Community Center will be hosting their annual Chirstmas Party at the fire station. Bring a dish, come joing the fun, entertainment provided. Keith Terry, brother of Brenda Howard and William Terry will be having sinus surgery on the 20th. Please remember him in your prayers.
