Bro. Dennis Landrum drove Pauline and Steve Branan, Margie Dye, Priscilla Red and Marie Dye to the Senior Adult Rally at the Training Center in Eudora Monday, May 18. They enjoyed a message from Bro. Wade Stillman followed by a barbecue dinner. They were joined by Betty McIver and her sister Ann. James and Linda Moore and Linda Smith of Senatobia attended the funeral of James' sister, Mrs. Betty Peyton in Memphis Saturday. May God bless her family.

Arkabutla Baptist Church was in revival May 17-20 with Jim Futral, executive director- treasurer of Mississippi Baptist Convention Board, bringing the messages. Mrs. Dollie Jones is a faithful reader of his article "Directions" in the Baptist Record, and was able to attend Monday evening. She enjoyed his message and getting to talk with him, too.

Priscilla Red and daughter, Linda Red of Lakeland, Tenn. attended a bridal shower for Julie Kern of Oxford, bride-elect of Daniel Spears at First Baptist Church in Senatobia Saturday morning.

Brenda and Ruben Riley attended the funeral of Arlyn (Hoot) Darby Saturday morning in Hernando. Remember his children and grandchildren in your prayers.

Sympathy is sent to the family of Amanda Dicken of Arkabutla who passed away the week before last.

May 23, Geraldine Thomas attended the 64th Hernando High School Reunion with seven members gathering at the Country Catfish in Hernando. This class graduated on May 22, 1945 with 12 graduates. It was an enjoyable evening for all.

Pam Dye and Scottie Smith attended a baby shower Saturday afternoon at the home of Wendy Fletcher in West Helena, Ark. honoring Maria Johns.

May God bless Mrs. Joyce Red and daughter, Kay, Judy, Debbie, and Vicki, grandchildren, and sister Pauline Branan in the loss of their husband, daddy, granddaddy and brother, Mr. Bob Red who died Wednesday. Burial was Friday in Evansville Cemetery.

Pauline Branan, Steve Branan, Sandra McCrary and Priscilla Red attended the 50th wedding anniversary celebration for Betty and Ervin Bobing Sunday, May 24 at Flag Lake Baptist Church at 1646 Highway 4 West. They were honored by their children and grandchildren and we wish to congratulate this fine couple.

Bro. and Mrs. Dennis Landrum honored their daughter, Anna, on her 4th birthday with a "Tea Party" at Higher Ground in Hernando. Those joining Anna at the tea party were Samantha of Olive Branch, Emery Cooper of Clarksdale, and Matte Sanders of Hernando. Mrs. Anne Pinkerton took pictures of this festive occasion.

Mr. and Mrs. Charles Perry Franks of Christenberg, Va. spent the Memorial Day weekend with her family in Tyro, and his sister, Patsy Hensley and husband Tommy in Arkabutla.

Dallas McCrary who is stationed in Pensacola, Fla. with the Marine Corps enjoyed the holiday weekend with his parents John and Sandra McCrary in Senatobia, and other relatives and friends during the weekend.

We send get well wishes to Mr. Mike Jarman at The Med who was in an accident on his motorcycle. Our prayers are with him and his wife Carol. During the morning worship service at Evansville, our music director, James Powell, recognized our men who had served in the service. May God bless all who are now serving and be with the many families who lost their loved ones trying to protect us and those who were wounded. We are so blessed to live in America!

Saturday evening Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Still honored his mother, Lottie Still, for her birthday at the Pit Stop in Arkabutla with a special dinner. Some other family members dropped in to wish her much happiness.

Sunday evening, Mrs. Dollie Jones enjoyed a visit from her son Cecil Jones.
