    Van Sickle finishes fifth in 2A long jump May 23, 2012

    Byron Klauenberg throws the discus 138'6"
          Jeshua Van Sickle, Maddie Diggs and Byron Klauenberg represented Ogden High School at the state track and field meet last week in Des Moines.

          Van Sickle recorded a distance of 21' 1 1/4" in the long jump and finished fifth in class 2A.

          Maddie Diggs, upper right, ran a 400 meter dash time of 1:02.49 and claimed 16th place.

          In the discus event, Byron Klauenberg, lower right, had a toss of 138' 6" to put him 20th among the 24 state competitors.
