Relay for Life tops last year - $21,234.85!

Once again the Ogden's, Relay for Life fund raiser has set a new record by surpassing last year's total!
This year's event brought in a total of $21,234.85! This is a wonderful example of how a group of committed workers together with hundreds of helping hands, generous donations and lots of enthusiasm, can accomplish a great deal all for a great cause!
The committee begins working in the fall of each year, establishing and laying out plans and shortly after Christmas goes full steam ahead. Hundreds of people help with the many food donations, auction and raffle items. The Water Buffaloes, 4-H Clubs and youth groups have stepped forward with their services and the entire evening is a fun filled event that Ogden began hosting in 2004 raising a total of $7,670.
The evening also recognizes many cancer survivors, encourages everyone to participate, sharing their decorations, table settings, recipes and talent by making and donating many, many projects and hours of constructing and donations to make the auction and raffle more fun each year!
Please don't think it's too much to pat everyone on the back and be proud of our community and the hundreds of helping hands. Job well done!
