As part of the network's commitment to showcasing talented young Iowans, statewide Iowa Public Television will broadcast highlights from its exclusive coverage of Indianola High School's 2012 Show Choir Invitational on Monday, April 23 at 8 p.m.
More than a dozen high school show choirs from around the state performed during a day-long competition before a live audience. This one-hour program features performances from some of the top Class 1A - 4A competitions, including schools from Moravia (1A), Ogden (2A), Keokuk, Spirit Lake, and Norwalk (3A), and Des Moines, Ottumwa, and Southeast Polk (4A). Excerpts from performances by several other schools are also included in the program. |
