After dropping their first two games of the week Ogden girls finished strong with a win over Madrid and a pair of wins at the Martensdale-St. Mary's Tournament for an 11-9 overall record thus far in the season. They stand at 6-4 in conference play.
The Bulldogs host Coon Rapids-Bayard Thursday and Des Moines Christian Friday night. A full slate of games next week concludes their regular season.

The Bulldogs suffered a 12-2 loss to Des Moines Christian Tuesday night on the road. Des Moines pounded out 10 hits and blew the game open with a six-run second inning.
Ogden was led by Carson with two hits. Bennett added a double.

Ogden fought for a 4-2 win over the Madrid Tigers last Thursday at Madrid.
The Bulldogs were led by Carson with a double that drove in two of the four runs. Breitbarth pitched seven strong innings, striking out 9 while walking only 2 in the win.

Ogden 4 - DM North 3
Bailey Carson's two-out single scored Morgan Bennett for the game-winning run over Des Moines North in the Martensdale-St. Mary's Tournament over the weekend.
The Bulldogs trailed 3-1 entering the last of the seventh inning. Carly Lindholm doubled and Amber Breitbarth walked, placing two runners on base. Bennett tripled, scoring both Lindholm and Breitbarth to tie the score at 3-3. Then with two outs Carson drilled a single to score Bennett for the win.
Ogden was led by Bennett with a triple and single. Breitbarth added two hits including a double. Carson added two hits. Lindholm smacked the ball for a double.

Ogden pounded out 11 hits in a 9-0 win over Melcher-Dallas Saturday. Breitbarth scattered 8 hits in the shut-out win.
Ogden was led by Breitbarth with two hits, including a double, and 7 strong innings of pitching. She allowed 0 runs on 8 hits, striking out 10 batters and not allowing a walk. Alexander, Diggs, Lindholm and Ellsworth added two hits apiece.
