6:28 p.m. Deputy Gray arrested Jeffrey Glaspey, 47, of Ames on a Boone County warrant.
Saturday, June 23
1:16 a.m. Deputy Gray responded to the Ledges State park for a complaint of people being loud in the camp grounds. Gray arrested the following: Michelle Riesberg, 41, of Gilbert for possession of marijuana; Chad Parrish, 20, of Gilbert for possession of marijuana, paraphernalia and possession of alcohol; Mindy Sue Hollister, 31, of Des Moines for possession of marijuana and paraphernailia; Ryan Robinson, 25, of Boone for possession of marijuana, paraphernalia and possession of a dangerous weapon.
Sunday, June 24
9:15 a.m. Deputy Pontius responded to X Ave and 270th for a two vehicle accident. A vehicle, driven by Mollie Southworth, 19, of Boone was south bound on X Ave and failed to yield at a stop sign causing a second vehicle, driven by Scott Turczynski, 41, of Elkhart to strike Southworth's vehicle within the intersection. Injuries were reported for occupants of both vehicles. Approximately $48,000 in total damage. Southworth was cited.
Monday, June 25
11:15 a.m. Deputy Godzicki responded to the 500 block of 200th for a single vehicle accident. Marissa Elsberry, 17, was cited for fail to maintain control after she lost control of her vehicle and entered a ditch. No injuries and approximately $2,000 in damages.
11:38 a.m. Roger Breed, 63, of Madrid reported some criminal mischief damage at his residence within the city of Madrid. Officer Millsap of Madrid forwarded the complaint to Deputy Pontius to take care of. Deputy Pontius took care of the complaint.
Tuesday, June 26
2:48 a.m. Deputy Fangman observed a vehicle at the waterworks. Upon investigation, Fangman cited Bailey Craven, 20, of Stratford for possession of alcohol underage.
Wednesday, June 27
6:59 a.m. Deputy Fangman responded to U Ave and 210th Union Pacific crossing for criminal trespass and vandalism. Union Pacific complained of a golf cart being placed on the tracks and the train striking the cart. Witnesses state a vehicle was seen in the area. Investigation is continuing.
Friday, June 29
1:15 a.m. Deputies Fangman and McCormick were responding to a call in West Ames when a deer ran into their path. Damages to the patrol car are estimated at $3,000. A complaint of injury was reported by both occupants.
