Ogden Police Report: June 4 - June 10, 2012

Monday, June 4 5:35 p.m. Officer received a complaint of a vehicle driving fast and making bad passes northbound on H Ave. from 270th St. The officer stopped the vehicle in the 400 block of E. Walnut St. and spoke with the driver about his driving. 11:25 p.m. Officer received a complaint of strange noises in the area of 207 N.E. 3rd St. The officer was unable to locate anyone in the area. Tuesday, June 5 8:30 a.m. Officer picked up a gray/white cat that was caught in a live trap in the 200 block of S.W. 7th St. The officer took the cat to the Boone Area Humane Society. Thursday, June 7 2:15 a.m. Officer responded to an intrusion alarm at Ogden High School. This was determined to be a false alarm. 4:00 p.m. Officer received a complaint of a dog being tied up on a long chain that allows the dog to cross the sidewalk. The officer advised the owner of the dog to shorten the chain. 8:51 p.m. Officer assisted Boone County Deputy in looking for a vehicle that was lighting off fireworks in mailboxes north of Ogden. Friday, June 8 5:06 p.m. Officer received a complaint of subject burning trash at 307 N.E. 3rd St. The officer advised the subject to extinguish the fire and advised you can only burn yard waste. Saturday, June 9 3:10 p.m. Officer assisted stranded motorist. Sunday, June 10 9:59 a.m. Officer investigated vandalism at 337 S. 1st St. 11:58 a.m. Officer assisted Ogden First responders at 394 220th St. These charges are merely an accusation and the defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty. |
