    Monday, Aug. 10

          11:19 a.m.: Deputy Godzicki responded to the City of Boxholm on a complaint of horses running loose in the area of 2nd St.
          5:44 p.m.: Sgt. Hurley took a call of dogs running loose in the area of 2100 block of 232nd Place, Boone. Humane Society was informed of the three dogs that are continuously running loose in this neighborhood.
          8:28 p.m.: Sgt. Hurley responded to Madrid, as a Madrid Officer had arrested Seth A. Leopold, 21, of Madrid. Leopold was wanted on a Polk County Warrant. Deputy transported Leopold to Polk County and served a protection order on him as well.
          9:18 p.m.: Sgt. Hurley investigated a car-deer accident three miles SE of Boone on S Ave. Janet Prindell, 49, of Boone, struck a deer in traffic, causing $1,500 in damages to a 2007 Ford Fusion. No injuries were reported.

    Tuesday, Aug. 11

          1:40 a.m.: Deputy Pontius investigated single-vehicle accident two miles east of Pilot Mound on E18. Rachelle L. Rasmussen, 22, of Alcester, SD was westbound on E18 when she apparently fell asleep and lost control then went into the south ditch. No injuries were reported. Damages were est. at $4,000 to a 1996 Chevy Cavalier.
          8:05 a.m.: Deputy Godzicki responded to a two-vehicle accident at an uncontrolled intersection at 180th and G Ave. Drivers that collided in the intersection were Dennis Wisecup, 59, of Ogden and Josh D. Tucker, 28, of Ogden. Tucker was airlifted to Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines, and Wisecup was transported by Boone Ambulance to Boone County Hospital and later transported to Mary Greeley Medical Center in Ames. Tucker was eastbound on 180th and failed to yield the right of way for the Wisecup vehicle that was northbound on G Ave. Vision was obscured by crops in the intersection. Damages were estimated at $14,000 to Tucker's 2002 Chevy Silverado pick-up, and $15,000 to Wisecup's 1999 Freightliner semi and trailer. Tucker was cited for failure to yield on right.
          1:07 p.m.: Deputy Godzicki responded to an ambulance assist at the Ledges State Park. A 75-year-old woman had fallen near a bridge and received facial laceration. Boone Fire and Ambulance responded.

    Wednesday, Aug. 12

          5:48 p.m.: Deputy Ruter investigated a two-vehicle accident two miles east of Boone at 210th and Highway 17. Sandra Tillson, 55, of Denver, CO was stopped at S Ave northbound  to turn east when she was struck from behind by another northbound vehicle operated by Benjamin Judson 27 of Badger, Iowa. No injuries were reported. Damages were estimated at $1,000 to Tillson's 2006 Kia and $100 to Judson's 2001 Ford F150 pick-up.Judson was cited for failure to maintain control.
          6:07 p.m.: Deputy Ruter responded to a complaint of a home that had been entered in the 1100 block of 105th Street, Boone. Nothing was reported missing.

    Thursday, Aug. 13

          1:43 p.m.: Deputy Ruter responded to a complaint of vandalism to a vehicle and furniture at a residence at 1511 B Avenue, Ogden.
          4:00 p.m.: Deputy Godzicki arrested Scott T. Perdue, 33, of Ogden, on a warrant for possession of meth and possession of precursors to manufacture meth.
          9:25 p.m.: Deputy Ruter and Naeve responded to a domestic situation in the 2200 block of E Avenue, Perry. No arrests made. Parties involved separated for the evening.

    Friday, Aug. 14

          1:00 a.m.: Deputy Zeutenhorst stopped a vehicle for speeding - 100 mph in a 65 zone in the 1000 block of Highway 30. Driver Eric Castle, 21, of Boone was arrested for speeding and OWI 1st.
          3:42 a.m.: Deputy Naeve responded to 21st and Story Street on a call of a man beating another man in garage. One person was arrested by Boone P.D. and another taken to Boone County Hospital for treatment.
          12:37 p.m.: Sgt. Hurley responded to a complaint by United Community School that someone had driven a vehicle onto the football field and struck an aluminum bench, destroying the bench. Bench was valued at approximately $700.
          8:28 pm.: Deputy Pontius and Hammer responded to 6100 West Lincoln way Ames, Lot 3 and arrested an individual on a Story County warrant. Arrested was Roger C. Lunsford, 40. Arrested for interference was Peggy S. Faulkner, 45, of that address.
          11:50 p.m.: Deputy Zeutenhorst made a traffic stop at Highway 17 and 210th. Arrested was Elijah J. Medina, 22, of Des Moines, for expired registration, possession of marijuana, and possession of a drug paraphernalia.

    Saturday, Aug. 15

          1:09 p.m.: Sgt. Hurley responded to the Dallas County line to pick up a prisoner arrested by Perry P.D. Arrested and transported to the Boone County Jail for a Boone County warrant for probation revocation was Ashley L. Lynch, 21, of Perry. Bond was set at $50,000.
          3:01 p.m.: Deputy Ruter investigated a single-vehicle accident at the Ledges State Park on Canyon Road. Ledges Officer needed assistance with personal injury accident. Boone Fire and Boone County Ambulance responded. Branson M. Hehnke, 16 of, Boone, was northbound and failed to negotiate a curve to the west, lost control and struck a tree. At the time of the accident there were three people in the cab of the pick-up and six in the pick-up box. Injured was the driver, and passengers Travis Erickson, 15; Brittany Smith, 16; Autumn Anderson, 15; and Cody Kinna, 15, all of Boone. Damages were estimated at $5000 to a 1993 Chevy pick-up. Hehnke was cited for failure to maintain control.
          11:07 p.m.: Deputy Pontius made a traffic stop on County Road E26. Driver Joshua W. Hutt, 27, of Woodward, was arrested for OWI 1st.
          11:43 p.m.: Deputy Zeutenhorst, while in the area of L Avenue southbound, observed a possible drunk driver, who then fled when the deputy turned on his red lights. The chase went into Dallas County when the vehicle, a white truck with a silver box, was lost. Speeds were in excess of 100 mph.
    Sunday, Aug. 16

          2:18 a.m.: Deputy Zeutenhorst made a traffic stop at Highway 210 and E62. Driver, Tonya S. Swank, 28, of Madrid was arrested for OWI 1st.
          6:04 p.m.: Deputy Hoffman responded to a domestic situation in the 600 block of Nature Road. This was a dispute over who was to have custody over a minor child for the day. Deputy was able to resolve the conflict. No arrests.

    Monday, Aug. 17

          1:33 a.m.: Deputy Wingate located an open door at the Perry Country Club. All was okay.
