She is survived by her son James and her daughter Sally, both of New Milford; brother Vincent Rosati; and nieces and nephews and their families. Laura was very close to and will be especially missed by her niece, Mary Jane Williamson of Gaylordsville, CT.
Laura was a very pretty girl who loved to work in her garden, go to tag sales, and especially loved bingo. She loved to swim and was an excellent swimmer in her younger days.
She was a secretary and treasurer of the family-owned businesses.
Laura was the lifelong love, companion, and partner to her husband, Arthur.
Both Laura and Art suffered from Parkinson's Disease, and in lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be sent to Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research, P.O. Box 780, New York, NY 10008-0780, with the hope that the wonderful research they are doing will prevent this horrible disease in future generations.
A private graveside service for family only will take place at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours.
Arrangements are by the Lillis Funeral Home, 58 Bridge Street, New Milford, CT.
