The Weston Trojan football team Saturday afternoon.
Playing at home in a driving rain, the Trojans (1-5) thrilled the drenched Weston fans by taking a 17-0 halftime lead against visiting Newtown (5-1). But the Nighthawks rallied for 21 second half points to pull out a 21-17 victory.

Ryan Farrell connected with Robbie Cordisco for a 15-yard scoring pass and Eddie Hutchins followed up with an 8-yard run. Cordisco made both extra points and the Trojans had a 14-0 lead at the end of the first quarter.
Cordisco then added to his spectacular afternoon by kicking a 25 yard field goal in the second quarter to give his team a 17-0 halftime lead. But those were the last points for Weston as Newton roared back for the road win.
