Michael Wyler of Falls Village, Conn., was stopped on Wilton Road. While the officer was checking his identification on the computer, he observed Wyler making furtive movements in his automobile. When he asked Wyler to exit from his vehicle, the officer observed what he suspected to be marijuana on the seat where Wyler was seated. A subsequent search of the vehicle revealed a plastic bag containing marijuana and some rolling papers. Wyler was charged with possession of a controlled substance, less than 4 ounces of marijana and drug paraphernalia. He was released on a $5,000 bond and given a Nov. 12 court date.

Kristin Issler of Norwalk was traveling northbound on Weston Road and was observed stopped at the stop sign at Easton Road, essentially parked in the roadway. When she finally proceeded through the intersection, she was stopped. The officer detected an odor of alcohol on her breath. She failed field sobriety tests and was taken into custody. She did submit to breath tests (.193 and .187). She was charged with operating under the influence of drugs and improper parking. She was released on a $500 bond and given a Nov. 12 court date.
