The 111th graduating class of Lower Merion High School received their diplomas at the Villanova Pavillion Wednesday evening. Students speakers included the salutatory address by Max Straus who called on his fellow students to register to vote, the Valedictory address by Camilia Kamoun as well a rousing speech by student class president Andrew Karasik which equaled national presidential candidates for its enthusiasm.

Schoolboard members Lawrence Rosenwald and Gary Friedlander both spoke as parents of children who are graduating.

Basketball coach Greg Downer was one of two teachers recieving the Fritz Brennan Award given to teachers from the student council.
