Electronics can be recycled on Saturday in Madison

Free electronics recycling will be held on Saturday at the Madison Recycling Center.

The city-sponsored event will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. for residents only. No businesses, governmental entities, nonprofit organizations or schools are eligible.

Items which will be accepted include large electronics such as computers, monitors, mainframes, battery backups, printers, scanners, copy machines, Fax machines, TVs, VCRs, etc.

In addition, handheld electronic devices like cell phones, pagers, PDAs, video games, calculators, MP3 players, compact disc players, cassette players, radios, walkie-talkies and cameras will be allowed at the dropoff.
