Meghan Michelle Brown and Tyler James Ruger of Dallas, Ga., announce their engagement.
The future bride is the daughter of Todd and Dana Brown of Lakeland, Fla. She is a 2002 graduate of George Jenkins High School in Lakeland; and a 2005 graduate of the University of Central Florida with a bachelor's degree in hospitality management. She is employed as a catering sales manager at Marriott Renaissance Waverly Hotel in Atlanta, Ga.
The future bridegroom is the son of Rob and Kate Ruger of Lincoln, Neb., and Bill and Renae Keenan of Juniata, Neb. He is the grandson of Dick and Mary Ruger and Del and Lorna Koel, all of Madison. He is a 2003 graduate of General H.H. Arnold High School in Wiesbaden, Germany; and a 2007 graduate of St. Leo University in St. Leo, Fla., with a bachelor's degree in criminal justice. He is an investigation specialist with Target Corporation in Atlanta.
The couple will be married on Oct. 17 in Auburndale, Fla.
