Kari Schaefer and Keith Alverson were married on March 28 at the Chester United Methodist Church. The Rev. Dave Severtson officiated at the afternoon ceremony.
Parents of the couple are Alan and Deb Schaefer and Ron and Sue Alverson, all of Chester.
Soloist was Darin Seeley, and accompanist was Ruby Berven.
The bride's maid of honor was Jill Schaefer. Bridesmaids were Chelsea Ahlers, Heather Cody, Jill, Johnson and Kara Alverson.
The best man was Jeremy VanderVorst. Groomsmen were Carl Odde, Joel Reierson, Nick Sershen and Ryan Schaefer.
Ushers were AJ Bednar and Cody Van Hyfte.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the Dakota Prairie Playhouse in Madison.
Special guests attending were the bride's grandparents, Doris Schaefer and Gene and Jackie Thill; and the bridegroom's grandparents, Nellie Browne and Eugene and Lois Alverson.
The bride is employed with Chester Area School as an administrative assistant. The bridegroom is engaged in farming. They are making their home at Chester.
