New pastor comes to West Center Baptist
02/17/2009
West Center Baptist Church of Madison has announced that Dr. Rick Wolgamott and his wife Beth have felt God's call on their ministry and have accepted the senior pastor position at West Center.

The Rev. Wolgamott most recently served at Bethesda Church in Huron for four years and previously served at Grace Community Church of Denham Springs, La., for 11 years. He received his Master of Divinity degree from Liberty University in Lynchberg, Va., and in May 2008 he completed his Doctorate of Ministry there also.

The Wolgamotts both have been involved in a great deal of ministry over 20 years. Before entering into full-time congregational ministry, they were full-time missionaries in Denver with Child Evangelism Fellowship from 1989-93. They have four married children and two grandchildren.

Rev. Wolgamott began his office hours on Feb. 9 and will preach his first sermon, "Win Win or Lose Lose," this Sunday. A potluck lunch is planned to welcome him and his wife.

He can be reached at 256-3027 or Rick.W@westcenterbaptist.com.
