Trent, Sample exchange vows

Mr. and Mrs. Paul Sample
Katie Trent and Paul Sample were married on Sept. 26 at St. Katherine Drexel. The Rev. Joe Vogel officiated, with the Rev. Dr. Douglas Dunn, uncle of the groom, assisting.

The Eucharistic minister was Linda Shoemaker, lector was Sid Shoemaker and altar servers were Klarissa and Logan Kobernusz.

Music was provided by Chase Shoemaker and Dawn Kinsman.

Jia Stein was the matron of honor, and bridesmaids were Carrie Gallagher, Deborah Peters and Sunshine Silver. David Sample was the best man, and groomsmen were Jay Dunn, Chris Peters and Jason Trent.

Ushers were Michael Beecher and Paul Stein.

The bride's personal attendants were Michelle Trent and Gail Urso.

Following the wedding ceremony, a reception and dance were held at the Ramada Inn. Mary and Bob Kobernusz and Julie and Bill Krell were hostesses and hosts.

The couple is at home in Sioux Falls. The bridegroom is a graduate of Dakota State University and is a graphic designer at Hot Stuff Foods. The bride is a graduate of South Dakota State University and is a pilot and flight instructor.

Parents of the couple are Ann Trent of Sioux Falls, Jay Trent of Yutan, Neb., and Rich and Barb Sample of Madison. Grandparents of the bride are Dottie and Merv Iverson of Mitchell.
