The following are a sampling of the calls received at the Barron County Dispatch Center. Some are emergency calls, while some are general complaints. Only dial 911 in emergency cases.

-Tuesday, Aug. 11-

8:32 a.m., 72-year-old woman in Cameron cafe suffering shortness of breath. Ambulance paged.

6:09 p.m., 911 caller reports someone is going the wrong was on Hwy. 53. 6:22 p.m., requested mutual aid. 6:25 p.m., tow company en route with three wreckers. 6:37 p.m., advised the guard rail needs to be repaired. 6:37 p.m., ambulance taking patient to Lakeview Medical Center-Rice Lake. 6:44 p.m., en route to Barron hospital for a blood draw.

9:43 p.m., woman advises there is a person in a white shirt staggering around Chetek church parking lot. 9:46 p.m., it was just a guy staggering to his tent. He was advised to stay out of traffic.

-Wednesday, Aug. 12-

5:25 a.m., Prairie Lake Township man says while he was in the shower, someone came into his house and got water all over his floor and then left.

5:14 p.m., Cameron girl's bike was stolen while she was at volleyball practice.

-Thursday, Aug. 13-

1:45 p.m., Chetek caller wishes to report that a relative threatened to take a crib away from a baby.

6:11 p.m., Chetek woman reports two highly intoxicated men just left bar on a boat with an 8-year-old girl. Girl is not wearing a life jacket, and caller is afraid men would be unable to help her if she fell in the water. Officer en route.

11:15 p.m., Cameron woman just involved in a hit and run; man drives a black Chevy. 1:02 p.m., man in custody, to be charged with criminal damage and domestic.

11:36 p.m., power out in Cameron, Chetek and Barron.

-Friday, Aug. 14-

7:55 a.m., Sauk County Sheriff's Department is investigating the overnight theft of a John Deere Dozer from a construction site.

-Saturday, Aug. 15-

6 a.m., ambulance needed for Chetek woman having an allergic reaction to bee sting.

4:22 p.m., Chetek woman reports drivers of a rented pontoon pulled up to her neighbor's property. Two or three adults and two kids got off the boat, urinated in the yard and dumped beer cans on the ground before leaving. Caller believes boat and/or motor would've been damaged by this.

8:30 p.m., Chetek woman called and advised that elderly male is sitting outside naked. 8:33 p.m., out with subject. 8:37 p.m., subject is hot, but they got him to put some clothes on.

-Sunday, Aug. 16-

12:28 p.m., gas drive-off in Chetek.

10:43 p.m., girl is text-threatening to beat up Cameron couple.

10:53 p.m., lock on Chetek woman's door is broken; she fears someone has been inside while she was gone.

-Monday, Aug. 17-

4:42 a.m., Chetek man reports prowler at his residence. 5:13 a.m., checked the area and didn't find anything.
