Mortenson to speak

The Chetek Lutheran Church Women will meet next Wednesday at 1 p.m., and Jerene Mortenson will be a guest speaker.

She will share the story of son Greg Mortenson, who led a humanitarian campaign to build schools in desolate regions of Pakistan and Afghanistan. He, with David Oliver Relin, wrote the book "Three Cups of Tea" about his work. The community is encouraged to attend the meeting. Deborah Circle is in charge of the program and lunch.
