Sand Creek Church holds lunch, auction

Raising funds for missionary support and projects is the goal of New Hope Lutheran Church in Sand Creek.

Events begin Sept. 27 at 10:30 a.m. with a worship service. A lunch follows at 11:30 a.m. The menu includes chicken casserole, Mandarn orange/green salad, rolls, beverage and pumpkin or apple dessert.

The live auction kicks off at 12:30 p.m. Items up for grabs include quilts, a garden bench, an antique armoire, a lighted hutch, an airplane ride with a local pilot, a delivered face cord of hardwood and more.

The church is located at the junction of CTHs U and V.
