The biographical sketch of Dr. R. A. Koenig will appear in the 63rd annual edition of "Who's Who in America" and the 27th edition of "Who's Who in the World."
For the past 10 years, Koenig has been the stated supply pastor of the Couderay and Radisson Presbyterian churches. In 1998, he retired as the senior pastor of the First Presbyterian Church of South St. Paul, Minn., after serving Presbyterian congregations in California, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania. He also served in capacities in the Presbytery of Northern Waters, the Presbytery of Northumberland, the Twin Cities Area Presbytery and the Synod of the Lakes and Prairies and the Synod of Trinity.

Before entering the ministry, he was the supervisor of music in Florence County, director of instrumental music for the Chetek Area School District and director of instrumental music at Palo Alto Senior High School in California. Later, he joined the faculty of the College of Education at the University of Minnesota and then became assistant to the executive director of the Minnesota Higher Education Coordinating Board in St. Paul.

He has published articles in educational journals and co-authored a textbook. The Koenigs have awarded scholarships to graduating Chetek High School seniors for more than a decade.
