Four attend national FBLA conference

Chetek High School Chapter FBLA sent four members to represent the school at the National Leadership Conference in Anaheim, Calif., June 24-28.

Students Amelia Bunton, Kaydie Green, Joey Bognar, Brandon Zeman and advisor Brenda Kretzschmar attended the conference. This is the seventh year in a row that students from Chetek Chapter have qualified to compete at the national level.
At the conference, the best and brightest of FBLA and PBL compete in leadership events, share their successes and learn new ideas about shaping their career future through workshops and exhibits.
This four-day conference is considered the pinnacle of the FBLA-PBL experience, especially for those running for national office. FBLA-PBL has forged partnerships with industry leaders to underwrite competitive events and scholarships for students achieving national ranking.
Not only did students compete, but they also toured Orange County, including Newport Beach and Fashion Island, and then traveled to Los Angeles and Hollywood. Students were able to enjoy Venice Beach for the day and to see what California culture is all about.
