Help keep students safe after prom

As Chetek High School plans for this year's prom, the Post-Prom Committee is organizing their annual celebration.
Since 1995, the CHS Post-Prom Committee has sponsored a fun, safe, alcohol-free, supervised post-prom celebration. This event has been attended by more than 150 students each year.

Events like post-prom help eliminate outside parties where poor choices are sometimes made, and the committee is working hard to ensure the event is well-attended. This year's event will be held in Eau Claire at Action City, a complex of 55,000 square feet and indoor games, rides, sports and food. There will also be entertainment throughout the night, including a hypnotist.
The success of post-prom is related to the support from businesses, organizations and individuals. There are five levels of giving:

1. Sponsors-gifts of $500 or more;
2. Encouragers-gifts of $250-$499;
3. Supporters-gifts of $100-$249;
4. Contributors-gifts of $25- $99;
5. Gifters-gifts of $10-$24.

Anyone wishing to make contributions can make checks payable to Chetek Post Prom. Donations can be sent to: Susan Davis, Treasurer, Chetek High School Post Prom, 2552 10th Ave., Chetek, WI 54728.

Any questions concerning contributions can be directed to Julie Wilson at 924-3866.
