Instead of a traditional arts and crafts fair, shoppers stroll through displays in one large gift emporium. All purchases from the many vendors can be made at a central cashier station. Some crafts and gift items include leather purses, photography, jewelry, furniture, quilted items, toys, antiques and more. Also for sale will be homemade goods, including jams, pickles, lefse and bread pudding. Soup, bread and bars will be available for purchase as well. Pumpkin Fest will be held in the old school gymnasium in Sand Creek Oct. 15 from 4-8 p.m., Oct. 16 from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Oct. 17 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The event is a major fundraiser for SCARTC.
