Balloon flies in from Colorado

Pete McCracken, of Chetek, found a balloon from Colorado Bank and Trust behind the school.

He investigated by calling a phone number listed on the Web site he found printed on the balloon. The Pueblo, Colo., bank location released about 100 balloons at the county fair July 11-19, 2008. To make it to Chetek, the balloon had to travel 826 miles, as the crow flies.
