A Healthy Touch Therapeutic Massage has changed hands. Pictured is former owner of A Healthy Touch Jacki Jordan (right) with, left to right, Trisha Taft Burdick, Debra McFaul and new owner Rachel Weyers.
A Healthy Touch Therapeutic Massage in Chetek switched hands, but the fit is just as good.
A Healthy Touch, established in Chetek in 1995, has changed location a few times, but the name, number and quality of service were deemed unchangeable by its former owner, Jacki Jordan.

Even with new owner Rachel Weyers, of Prairie Farm, massages will still be received on the same oversized, padded and heated massage table, which also has tilt and recline features to ensure everyone is comfortable.

The massage room offers soft music, earth-tone colors and indirect lighting to induce relaxation.

Weyers completed her massage training at Wisconsin Indianhead Technical College in Rice Lake in August 2008, then received her Wisconsin license and national certification in massage therapy and body work in 2009.

Throughout the summer, Weyers has studied Jordan's massage techniques to add to her own repertoire.

Also working at A Healthy Touch are two massage practitioners-Trisha Taft Burdick and Debra McFaul.

McFaul completed her massage training in Eau Claire at the Professional Hair Design Academy in 2005 and has worked at A Healthy Touch for two years. She specializes in relaxation massage and injury recovery.

Taft Burdick completed her massage training at the Eau Claire academy in 2008 and has worked at A Healthy Touch for the past year. She also trained with Jordan to gain a wider knowledge base.

Jordan is headed to Georgia to complete 17-year-old son Judson's last year of home school. She is grateful to Weyers for taking over the business. She hopes to return in the summer and looks forward to working under Weyers' leadership.

People may contact Jordan at jackijordan@gmail.com.
