She was born Sept. 8, 1942, to Wilbur and Hazel (Nicholson) Sylte at Colfax, where she was raised and attended school. She graduated from Colfax High School in 1960. On Nov. 18, 1983, she married Richard Teed at Stillwater, Minn. She is survived by her husband, Richard, of Ridgeland; three sons, Alan Ausing, of Long Lake, Michael (Barbara) Ausing, of Durand, and Lance (Shelby) Ausing, of Chetek; a stepdaughter, Heather (Tom) Kaizer, of New Richmond; six grandchildren, Aaron, Meghan, Larse and Wallis Ausing, and Caitlyn and Vanessa Kaizer; a brother, Warren (Donna) Sylte, of Ridgeland; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Lana was preceded in death by her parents. Funeral services were held Friday from New Hope Lutheran Church in Sand Creek with the Rev. Barbara Koch officiating and interment in New Hope-Our Savior's Lutheran Cemetery in Sand Creek. Arrangements were with Rausch-Lundeen Funeral Homes, Dallas and Cameron.
