BENEFIT TENNIS -
10/05/2005
The Southbury Tennis Challenge, held September 24 and 25, raised over $600 for Southbury-Middlebury Youth and Family Services. Winners in the women's doubles class were (from left) Patty and Monique Shay, first place, and Adele Dilley and Kay Delfay, runners-up, with tournament promoter Val Stoiana. Krikit's Garden Center provided flower baskets for the runners-up, while the winners received gift certificates for a manicure and pedicure at Tres Jolie. Mr. Stoiana, who is the resident tennis pro at the Dolce Heritage in Southbury, hopes to make the tournament an annual event. (O'Brien photo)
