Vehicle License Tax VLT )and registration fee exemptions for surviving spouse of 100 isabled veteran. To receive the VLT and registration fee exemptions, eligible spouse must present a certification letter provided by the U. S. Department of Veterans Affairs to the MVD at the time of vehicle registration and subsequent years.
The Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation provides financial assistance for higher education to deserving sons and daughters of Marines, with particular attention being given to children whose parent was killed or wounded in action. Also included is a granchild of a Marine who served in WWII with the 4th or 6th Marine Division, 531 Gray Ghost Squadron and a member of the association. Additional scholarship funding is available for children whose parent participated in Operation Iraqi Freedom or Operation Enduring Freedom. Applications for the 2010-2011 academic year will be available in January 2010. www.mcsf.com
Scholarship program of the Marine Corps League. Granted to the children and grandchildren of Marines who have lost their lives in service to their country and to children and grandchildren of members of the Marine Corps League and its Ladies Auxiliary.
