Pinal County Visitor Center
Pinal County is characterized by a diverse mixture of public and private recreation resources capable of providing rich memories of special places. Our hertiage Culture and festivals are so enchanted you will want to come back for more. There is a profusion of color throughout most of the year in the valleys and mountains of Pinal County. Many wild plants and trees make the desert come alive. Besides hiking, picnicking, four wheeling, and site seeing opportunities, the desert holds a multitude of wilderness areas. It is habitat for a variety of wildlife, including 160 kinds of birds, which live in or migrate through the area. Cultural attractions include Casa Grande National Ruins, Gila River Indian Art Museum, Lost Dutchman’s and Pinal County Historical Museum. Our five state parks are not only unique but McFarland State Park has Senator McFarland’s library. Oh, did we mention the worlds famous Bio Sphere 2.
