READY TO DIG IN James Hein, Yale, was one of hundreds of area residents who attended the free breakfast at the new Yale Community Building Sunday morning. James and many others enjoyed pancakes, sausage and eggs in the recently completed facility which is some 2,200 sq. ft. larger than the old one.
MORE WHERE THAT CAME FROM Standing corn surrounds a growing corn pile at Heartland Co-Op in Panora. Corn yields in the vicinity have been excellent, ranging from 180 to 220 bushels per acre.
