Tate County Sheriff's investigators have arrested and charged two men in connection with a string of recent residential burglaries that took place in the eastern part of Tate County.

Investigators have arrested and charged two men authorities identified as Alpacino Shipp, 29, of Memphis, Tenn., and Zerrick Ramsey, 26, of Tate County, in connection with seven burglaries.

A third suspect, Demetric Leverson, 32, of Tate County, has an active arrest warrant but is not in custody, according to a sheriff's department statement.

Shipp and Ramsey are currently in jail under $50,000 bond each. The investigation is ongoing and additional charges could be filed in this case, authorities said.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Demetric Leverson is urged to contact the Tate County Sheriff's Office at (662) 562-4434 or Crime Stoppers at (800) 729-2169, authorities said.
