The OHS Lady Golfers continued their perfect streak, besting five other teams in two meets last week. There were no scheduled meets for the boy's team. The Rinehart sisters, senior Elisabeth and junior Emily, continued their role as leading ladies while Aubrey Hunter, Amber Brietbarth, and Micah Gustafson were away on the senior trip. Stepping into their cleats this week were juniors Skyler Bauer and Hannah Nation. Emily Rinehart posted a team best 46 at Perry Tuesday, but it was not quite enough to continue her own streak of meet medals, as Perry's Shelby Townsend shot a 43 for the honor. The same score was plenty low for her to medal at Dayton on Friday. Emily walked away with this one as no other player managed to break 50 on the very difficult course. The Lady Bulldogs were within reach of sweeping the top three spots as Elisabeth Rinehart (52) won a one-hole playoff to take runner-up and junior Sydney Neubauer (58) was just one stroke shy of winning a 3-way playoff for third place. The girls play this week at Perry, Panora, and twice at Don Williams this Tuesday and Thursday. The boys also have those two at Don Williams with away meets at Perry and Dayton.
