2. Three Hurt in Fireworks Explosion at Hermann

The state fire marshal's office is investigating an accident at an Independence Day fireworks display Monday near Hermann that left three workers injured.
Brad Link, 26, James Pollard, 25, and Cory Carson, 17, all suffered burn-related injuries from the explosion. They were transported to the Hermann Area District Hospital for initial treatment and then later transferred to the Boone County Hospital burn unit.
