Fort Rucker honors veterans
Even the strong winds and rain couldn’t keep more than 100 people from paying their respects on Veterans Day at Fort Rucker. Soldiers, veterans of past wars and family members stood against the elements on Wednesday to honor those past and present who defended the United States. Sgt. DeKeither Stamps, who narrated the beginning of the ceremony, told the audience that Veterans Day is a day for Americans to pause and remember the brave men and women who have served in the armed forces.
